What are some interesting/fun first date ideas?

Hey me and this guy from school want to go hang out somewhere and we have no clue where. I don't want to have a typical go out to eat/movies or anything (we're in high school)
I've been thinking what are some interesting, fun, adventurous date ideas that i can bring up w/ him to see if he likes it?
Something like.. rock climbing.
It's our first date and I don't feel like going to the movies or just out to eat. I want to actually DO something. we live in ny..

    you should go on an adventure. take a camera and go on a nice little hike. look up nearby forests and maybe ones with a creek or waterfall, big or small. a nice little adventure cant go wrong. just make sure you're careful. maybe bring some first aid stuff. and then also pack other things like food and such that you think you might want to have :D

    Have a picnic, you want to talk to each other on a first date.rock climbing is fun but you are not getting to know each other. Bring a frisbee if you want some activity . It's cheap and you are getting the most important going on a first date , communication.

    Mini golf!

    It's not way adventurous, but it's competitive, which give open flirt opportunities, and you also have plenty of time to chat and learn stuff about each other. It's not a lame movie and dinner, either.

    I'm gonna say go Mini Golfing.
    Just try to keep it filled with conversation. Also maybe think of things you like to do? I don't know you so I can't really give you a good answer. But I think Mini golf is a good first date

    Hmm , Go for a walk on the beach , through the park , bowling , skaiting , ummm , maybe goto six flags in new jersey lol .

    i would say look up "tramploine (your zip code here)" in google. Try to find a trampoline wharehouse thing. Skyhighsports.com kind of thing. super fun! if you can't find one, maybe go to scandia and go on go carts/play in the tubes? best place to kiss. Period. (:
