West Hollywood-Great first date ideas?

Most importantly: I am 23, she is 22, and money issues are not a big deal to me.

So I am new to LA–I live over on the Culver side–and I am having a rough time with picking out a first date.

We are meeting up after work around 6 TONIGHT, so it will be dark out. I was planning on bringing her to Kado (sushi) in the Grove for dinner, but after that I am drawing a blank.

I know she is new here as well, so she has not seen the grove so I figured we could walk through it kinda quickly, as it is pretty amazing–especially if we time it right and hit a water show .

After that I need some options as a man should have a few options depending on how dinner went.

Any ideas?

Things I want to AVOID:
- I want to avoid a movie, and it is too late to bring her to a show.
- Long car rides over 30 minutes (with light traffic).
- Being cheesy

dude chill…after dinner, the water show thing is great…time it right and tell her you want to show her something…(the water show) but dont tell her wat it is…wow i wish my bf would do something for me like that…good job…after that dont rush it and ask her what she wants to do…or if she wants to go home…dont her her home too late and not too early..if she says she doesnt care then window shop woth her or something…dont act like you want to get in her pants though….shell beat the crap outta you unles shes a slut and looking for a one night thing

Update: Don't save anything for the second date. New ideas will come to you. I would have no problem shopping around in the Grove. Sometimes it's fun to go to an old-fashioned coffee shop for dessert, like Dolores or Norms.

It might be too cold to sit at the marina tonight.

Idea for a future date: Getty Center and/or Getty Villa.
