Second date? Was it a first date?

Was this a first date? We met online through a dating site, and she asked me within a week if I wanted to come up and do something with her. It became dinner at her favorite outdoor restaurant. Then we walked around the city for a little. Would this be considered the first date even though we never really used the word date? It went well, I think at least.

When and how would be the best way to ask for a second date? We went on the first one last night and I had a blast. Thanks for the future advice and tips!

Give it a week, ask if she has any plans first. The worst thing to do is, try and plan something the day she has plans..

Maybe in a weeks time, just pop off the question "What are you doing Saturday"?, if she says she has nothing planned, well go in for the kill, and ask for a date, if she says no, which most likely wont happen, then so be it.
