I had some girls chasing me in high school, but I was a clown so I didn't know if they were serious or making fun. But then in college I got blown out of the social waters. College life was a fiasco for my personality.

I've always been conflicted between social pressure to “hook up” and my own values.

Anyway I think part of the problem is I set my standards 2 high. If I had been a bottom feeder in high school going after the lowest quality girls I would have built up quantity which is its own quality. Then I would have been more socially comfortable and experienced in college.

I wasn't really shy in JR or high school, if anything I seeked negative attention as a class clown. But it was just 2 hard to date in college.
