Girls i need your help! on your very first date…?

my little sister is 13 years old, and next weekend she was asked out on a date. i know the boy she is going with a bit, but i'm still not sure.
me and my mate want to be with her, but she wont let us so maybe if we go near where she is? im 4 years older than her and ever since our mum died I've become over protective of her. i know i shouldn't but this is her first date i have to do something!
on your first date where did you go? how old were you? did anyone else go with you?
